The NMU Alpine Ski Team is a great venue for ski racers to continue racing throughout their collegiate years, and to meet people with a similar interest. NMU Alpine Ski Team is part of the Midwest Collegiate Ski Association, which has four divisions. NMU is in the Lake Superior Division. Our Regional Race is held at Marquette Mountain, our home hill, every year. Additionally, NMU Alpine continuously sends representatives to Nationals, which were held in Sunday River, Maine last year. We practice 3 days a week, and have 5 - 6 races each season. Outside of ski racing, our club participates in volunteer work and team bonding.
Dues are $460 per person which includes: registration fees for the league and individual races, hotels, gas for traveling, equipment for practice, and team building activities.
