The NMU Dance Club is made up of dedicated and talented young women who represent the University in a positive and spirited manner. Members on our team have a diverse background, including classical ballet, hip-hop dance, cheerleading squads, gymnastics, kick lines and elite pompon programs. This diversity makes our team remarkable because we draw on one another's strengths to succeed. As a team, we have the opportunity to perform at many home varsity football, soccer, volleyball, basketball games, and at various University and community functions. Through performances, appearances, and volunteer activities, the Northern Michigan University Dance Team serves as NMU ambassadors.
Dues are $150/year for Performance Team members and $75/year for Club Team members - Dues are used for purchasing costume pieces, team-issued apparel, music, and poms. Each member must also pay a summer camp fee.
