NMU Dance Team

2014 Dance Team

The NMU Dance Team is made up of dedicated and talented young women who represent the University in a positive and spirited manner. Members on our team have diverse backgrounds, including classical ballet, hip-hop dance, cheerleading squads, gymnastics, kick lines and elite pompon programs. This diversity makes our team remarkable because we draw on one another's strengths to succeed. As a team, we have the opportunity to perform at many home varsity football, soccer, volleyball, and basketball games, as well as various University and community functions. Through performances, appearances, and volunteer activities, the Northern Michigan University Dance Team serves as NMU ambassadors.

Dues are $150/year - Dues are used for purchasing costume pieces, team-issued apparel, music, and poms.
