Golden Glitz

NMU Golden Glitz is a hip hop/jazz dance team composed of various empowered young women who love to dance and create school spirit, pride and loyalty. Our objective is to promote leadership, diversity, responsibility and courage. We will be incorporating different variations of dance into our choreography to strengthen our team and provide a bonding atmosphere for our team members. No matter your dance background, Golden Glitz has a place for you. As a sport club, we have the chance to perform at some home varsity football, basketball, and volleyball games.

Team Dues
To be determined; will be used to cover the cost of warm-ups and shoes.

Auditions
Will be held early in the fall semester. They are two-day tryouts, so that prospective dances have the option of attending either day. Prospective dance team members will be taught choreography and will be judged on how well they perform that choreography with other aspects, as well.

Practices
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.
