Kristen Rogers enters her second season as the assistant women’s basketball coach at Norther Michigan University.
Rogers came to Marquette after four and a half seasons of coaching at Wayne State University. She was the assistant coach for three seasons and a graduate assistant for a season and a half. Rogers also played four years for the Warriors from 2002-06.
Rogers ranks 15th all-time at Wayne State with 1,056 career points. She also had 275 assists and 348 rebounds while starting in 94 games. She ranks second in three-pointers made (171) and attempted (581) in a career, while ranking second in free throw percentage (.837), third in minutes played (3,080) and fifth in steals (206).
Rogers has a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and earned a master’s degree in sports administration in December 2007, both from Wayne State.
Rogers is a member of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association, the Alliance of Women's Coaches and the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan. She is also a graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy and the Felicia Hall-Allen Assistant Coaches Symposium.
Rogers resides in Marquette.
