Tailgating

For up to three hours before and one hour after events, tailgating will be permitted anywhere in the Recreation and Sports Complex area, but alcohol is permitted only in two designated parking lots: number 55, which is east of the Superior Dome's back entrance; and number 58, east of the Berry Events Center.

Michigan law governing the possession, consumption and distribution of alcohol and controlled substances will be enforced with random identification checks by Public Safety.

The tailgating policy prohibits the following: kegs, drinking games and devices, glass containers, mass common alcohol containers, open-flame fires and pets. Caterers providing food for public consumption or sale must be approved by NMU conference and catering.
