  United States Olympic Education Center athletes finished the 2013 winter semester by naming 25 student athletes to its All-Academic Team.

  Former United States Olympic Education Center Coach Al Mitchell has been named to the 2012 USA Boxing Olympic Team staff. Mitchell who was the 1996 Olympic head coach will reprise his 2004 role as technical advisor.

  The spirit of the Olympic Movement rolled into Marquette today, as the Olympic Education Center weightlifting team met with members of the NMU Wildcat Youth Camp in celebration of Olympic Day.

  Athletes Volunteer at Jump Rope for Heart
  Seven U.S. Olympic Education Center athletes volunteered at Father Marquette Elementary School’s Jump Rope for Heart, a fundraiser for the American Heart Association.

  The United States Olympic Education Center teamed up with the Northern Michigan Constructors student organization to build display stands for eight Olympic torches.

  Forty-four United States Olympic Education Center athletes have been named to the USOEC All-Academic team for the fall 2011 semester for their performance in the classroom.

  Wrestlers Win Silver and Bronze
  Two United States Olympic Education Center wrestlers won silver at the U.S. Open for Greco-Roman and freestyle Dec. 17-18 in Arlington, Texas. Ten others placed in the top seven, earning a chance to compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
