Brian Stewart Named Rookie of the Week By The CCHA

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Brian Stewart after recording 39 saves in his first collegiate start and win at Miami (4-2) on Saturday was named this week’s Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) Rookie of the Week. He played 20 minutes of Friday’s game and had eight saves.
For the weekend, Stewart stopped 47-of-50 shots (.940) and was named the first star of Saturday’s game.
