BAY CITY, Mich. – Northern Michigan University redshirt freshman running back Mark Bossuah was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Gannon.
The 5-11, 190, back from Grand Rapids, Mich. (Forest Hills Central) helped NMU snap a six-game losing streak by recording career highs with 21 carries, 118 yards and three touchdowns in a 48-21 win over the Golden Knights.
He scored on an 11-yard run in the first quarter, a two-yard plunge in the third quarter and a three-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Bossuah efforts helped the Wildcats post a season-high 477 yards of total offense including 172 rushing yards.
