Mike Santorelli Named CCHA Offensive Player of the Week

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – For the second week in a row a member of the Northern Michigan University hockey team has been honored by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA). Mike Santorelli was named this week’s CCHA Offensive Player of the Week for his play at the Mutual of Omaha Stampede Tournament against UMass Lowell and Nebraska-Omaha. The junior, forward from Burnaby, B.C. had two goals and three assists against UNO in the championship game to earn MVP honors.
For the weekend he had three goals, three assists for six points. Santorelli currently leads the Wildcats in goals (4), assists (5) and points (9).
