MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Ricky Volcy wasnamed to the Daktronics NCAA Division II Basketball Great Lakes Region team asa first team selection. Ã‚  He is joined on the first team by Chris Thompson from Southern Indiana, Collins Harris from Drury, Sullivan Sykes from St. Josephâ€Â™sand Dustin Pfeifer from Findlay.  Thompson was named the Player of the Year.

Volcy led the Great Lakes Intercollegiate AthleticConference (GLIAC) with 20.4 ppg and 2.5 blocks per game.  He was a first teamAll-GLIAC North Division selection as well as the GLIAC North Division Playerof the Week four times during the 2005-06 season.
