Bill Zaniboni Honored By The CCHA
FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. â€Â“ For the second weekin a row and third time this season, Bill Zaniboni of the Northern Michigan University hockey team, has been honored by the Central Collegiate Hockey Association(CCHA). He has been named the RBK CCHA Goaltender of the Week for hisperformance against Ohio State.
Zaniboni blocked 49-of-52 shots (.942), including 30 onFriday in a first-star performance as the Wildcats swept Ohio State to gain the fourth and final, first-round playoff bye. He is currently 16-10-2 with a2.28 goals-against average and a .916 save percentage.
