MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ The U.S. Track andField and Cross Country Coaches Association has announced its All-Academicindividuals and teams for the 2005 cross country season.  The Northern Michigan University womenâ€Â™s cross country team was selected.  The Wildcats had a teamgrade point average of 3.60 for the 2005 fall semester. 

To qualify for this honor, individuals had to be in the top30 percent of participants at their regional meet and have and have a 3.25 GPAor higher.  For a team to qualify as an All-Academic team it had to have a teamGPA of 3.0 and all of the participants in the regional meet had to comprisethat GPA. 

Individuals named from NMU included:  Kelly Ahern, StephanieHowe, Brooke Rediger, Danielle Stein, Jane Stieber and Maria Stuber.
