BAY CITY, Mich. â€Â“ For the second timethis season, Ricky Volcy has been named the Great Lakes IntercollegiateAthletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division Player of the Week. 

The junior led Northern Michigan University to a pair ofGLIAC home wins last week by averaging 20.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, fiveassists, two steals and one block in two contests.  On Thursday, in the winover Northwood, Volcy tallied 20 points, nine rebounds and six assists.  OnSaturday, the 6-8 forward scored 21 points while grabbing 11 rebounds, dishingout four assists and three steals against SVSU.

Volcy currently leads the GLIAC in scoring, averaging 18.3points per game, and in blocked shots, averaging 2.4 blocks per game.
