
ST. PAUL, Minn. â€Â“ The Northern Michigan University menâ€Â™s basketball team picked up their first win of the season as theydefeated the Concordia University Golden Bears, 74-63, at the Radisson St. PaulConcordia Thanksgiving Classic. The â€Â˜Cats are now 1-3 on the year.
The â€Â˜Cats held Concordia to a shooting percentage of 33.8from the field and 22.6 from three-point range. On the offensive side ofthings the â€Â˜Cats were led by Ricky Volcy with 19 points and nine rebounds whileMarco Volcy had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Will Washington added 13 points.
The â€Â˜Cats will return to action on Tuesday as they host theFinlandia Lions at 7:30 p.m.
