KENOSHA, Wis. â€Â“ The second game of thefive-game road swing for the Northern Michigan University womenâ€Â™s soccer team(1-2) was Friday afternoon at UW-Parkside (2-0) and it will not go down as apositive experience for the â€Â˜Cats.  UW-Parkside soundly defeated the â€Â˜Cats by ascore of 6-0.  The Rangers scored two goals in the first half of play and addedfour more in the second 45 minutes.


UW-Parkside had 11 shots on goal while the â€Â˜Cats could onlymuster four for the game.  The Rangers had 12 corner kicks for the afternoonwhile NMU was shutout. 


Two goalkeepers for NMU saw action in the game.  TabithaMagnan started the game and stayed in for 76 minutes as she gave up two goals. Sara Allan played for 14 minutes and gave up four goals.  Magnan recorded twosaves.


The â€Â˜Cats will stay on the road as they travel to the TwinCities to take on Concordia-St. Paul on Sunday (Sept. 4).
