MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Troy Mattson, the headwomenâ€Â™s basketball coach at Northern Michigan University, has announced twomore members will be joining the squad.  Jacoba Williamson (5-9, G) fromMarquette, Mich. and Cassie Hegbloom (5-10, F) from Ishpeming, Mich. are the two new members.  Both student-athletes will be sophomores.

Williamson, attended Marquette Senior High School, was amember of the NMU womenâ€Â™s basketball team during the 2000-01 season.  Sheaveraged 2.4 ppg and 1.4 rpg for the season.  Williamson lettered that seasonand was named the NMU Top Newcomer.

Cassie Hegbloom played at Westwood High School where she wasa two-time All-U.P. selection and an all-state pick as a senior.   She playedlast season at Michigan Tech where she appeared in 28 games, averaged 1.2points and 1.4 rebounds a game.  She must sit out this coming season and willbe eligible for the 2006-07 campaign.
