Tarkki ended the 2004-05 campaign with a 20-8-5 overallrecord as he registered a 2.07 goals-against average with a .930 savepercentage. He was named the CCHA Player of the Year as he led all conferencegoaltenders in overall and conference games. Tarkki led the CCHA with a 1.81goals-against average and a .936 save percentage as the â€Â˜Cats registered ateam-best 38-point regular season in CCHA action. He finished the campaignranked nationally in save percentage with a fourth place showing and was 10thin goals-against average.
