MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Ricky Volcy has beennamed to the 2004-05 Daktronics Menâ€Â™s Basketball Great Lakes Region Team as asecond team selection.  Voting for the awards is conducted by sportsinformation directors of the member schools in the respective region.  TheGreat Lakes region consists of 13 GLIAC schools, 11 GLVC institutions and twoindependents (Tiffin and Oakland City).

Volcy, a forward from Montreal, Quebec, led the â€Â˜Cats with553 points (19.8 ppg) and 215 rebounds (7.7 rpg).  He was a named to the GLIACNorth Division All-Conference First Team last week.
