BAY CITY, Mich. â€Â“ For the second time thisseason Ricky Volcy was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate AthleticConference (GLIAC) North Division Player of the Week for his play last week.

Volcy tallied a pair of double-doubles on his way toaveraging 28.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocks, one assist and one steal percontest last week.  He opened the week by recording 28 points, 17 rebounds, twoassists, two blocks and two steals against Saginaw Valley State.  Volcy cameback with a 29-point, 10-rebound performance at Lake Superior State.

Volcy connected on 60.5 percent of his shots from the floor(23-38) on the week.  He currently ranks third in the league in scoring average(19.6), fourth in rebounding average (7.7) and ninth in steals per game.
