Football Inks Prospects


MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Today was the first day that a prospectcould sign a National Letter of Intent to attend a particular school and playfootball.  The Northern Michigan University football staff hauled in the signedletters today off the fax machine.  â€ÂœWe went after players to fill some of ourneeds along the offensive and defensive lines.  Plus we wanted to add somedepth to a couple of key areas,â€Â Doug Sams said.  â€ÂœWe feel that we got the bestplayers out of the U.P.â€Â
