DETROIT, Mich. - The men's basketball contestbetween Northern Michigan University and Wayne State University, a Great LakesIntercollegiate Athletic Conference game, scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Saturday,Jan. 8, has been postponeddue to an illness that has affected several of the Northern Michigan players.
Rob Fournier, Director of Athletics at Wayne State University, and Dean Ellis, Northern Michigan University men's basketball coach, haveagreed to try to reschedule the game later in the season. Theparties will try to reach an agreement after the NCAA convention in Dallas.
The women's basketball contest between NorthernMichigan and Wayne State, slated for 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, willstill take place as scheduled.ÃƒƒÃ‚‚Ãƒ‚Ã‚
