FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. â€Â“ Two Wildcatswere selected as CCHA Players of the Week for their performances against NotreDame over the weekend.

Mike Santorelli was named the Offensive Player of the Weekwhile teammate Geoff Waugh was selected as the Defenseman of the Week.

The freshman from Burnaby, B.C., Santorelli, scored theâ€Â˜Cats lone goal in the 1-1 tie against the Fighting Irish on Friday night.  Headded two more goals in Saturdayâ€Â™s 4-1 win over Notre Dame.  Santorellicurrently leads the â€Â˜Cats with five goals and shares the team lead with sixpoints (5-1-6).

Waugh, the junior from Winnipeg, Manitoba, picked up hisfirst point of the season with an assist in Saturdayâ€Â™s win.  He was +2 on theweekend, and part of a penalty-killing unit that was 10-for-11 against theFighting Irish.
