MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ The Northern Michigan University hockey team passed one-gallon buckets throughthe stands at last weekend's games against Michigan State and raised $3,907 forformer player Eric LeMarque.  LeMarque played for the Wildcats from 1986-90,playing in 160 games, scoring 133 points on 50 goals and 83 assists.  LastFebruary, LeMarque was lost for seven days in a blizzard in northern California and suffered from severe frostbite.  He had to have both of his legs amputatedbelow the knee.


The $3,907 collected by the'Cats is being given to Eric to help him with the high costs of prosthetics ashe plans on continuing to skate and ski/snowboard.
