MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ The NorthernMichigan University Volleyball â€Â˜Cats opened the weekend with a 3-0 (30-20,30-16, 30-9) victory over the Saginaw Valley State Cardinals.  The â€Â˜Cats arenow 17-4 overall and 9-4 in the GLIAC.  The Cardinals are 2-24 and 0-14 in theconference. 


The â€Â˜Cats will look for a little revenge tomorrow afternoonat the Vandament Arena when they host Northwood at 1:00 p.m.   Ã‚ TheTimberwolves beat NMU in their prior meeting this season. 


Jennie Little came back from her broken leg to play in twogames on Saturday.  Overall she had two kills, one assist and two digs. Teammate Andrea Smith led the â€Â˜Cats overall with 13 kills on 35 attempts for ahitting percentage of .286.  She also chipped in with two block solos and threeblock assists.


Holly Greenamyre added 11 kills on 18 attempts (.500). LizKohn led the â€Â˜Cats defensively with 18 digs. Ashley Kiel added six blockassists for the match.  Brittany McGowan passed the ball for a match-high 24assists.
