GLIAC South Not Kind To 'Cats Again

 

FINDLAY, Ohio â€Â“ The GLIAC South has notbeen kind to the â€Â˜Cats in their last two matches.  Last Saturday the Chargers ofHillsdale defeated the â€Â˜Cats in five games, tonight at Findlay, Ohio, The University of Findlay Oilers defeated the â€Â˜Cats in four games.  NMU won the firstgame 30-22, before the Oilers would run off three in a row (30-32, 24-30,29-31) for the win.  The â€Â˜Cats drop to 15-4 overall on the season and 7-4 inthe GLIAC.  UF improves to 16-5 and 6-4 in the conference.

 

Ashley Kiel led the â€Â˜Cats on the night with 17 kills.  AimeeDewitte and Beth Honaker both had 11 kills for the match.  Kiel added fourservice aces, nine digs and two block assists for the â€Â˜Cats.  On the defensivefront, Liz Kohn led the way with 16 digs.  Kelli McCune added 25 assists and 14digs. 

 

The â€Â˜Cats will continue with their Ohio swing as they playat Ashland on Saturday, Oct. 16.
