MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“Northern Michigan University is celebrating 100 years of Wildcat Football, andwill be having a football reunion on Friday, Oct. 15 and Saturday, Oct. 16th.Former players and coaches, who have not yet registered, are asked to registerwith the NMU Intercollegiate Athletic Office (906) 227-2105 before Friday, Oct.15.  Reunion check-in is from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday at the SuperiorDome Main Entrance, and is followed by the homecoming parade at 5:30 p.m.

After the parade, the public isinvited to the NMU Sports Hall of Fame Dinner and Ceremony, which will be heldat 6:30 p.m. in the University Center.  Tickets to the dinner are availablethrough the NMU Alumni Association (906) 227-2610 for $17.50 per person.

On Saturday, Oct. 16, the eventsopen with a 100 years of NMU Football Social (for former players and theirguests) at the Steer and Stein from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  A pre-game tailgate/block party begins at 5:00 p.m. at the Superior Dome, where there will be livemusic, kids games, and sky divers.  At 6:45 p.m. all former players presentwill be recognized on the east end of the turf at the pre-game tunnel.Following the 7:00 p.m. football game vs. Ferris State there will be a 5thquarter reception at the Steer and Stein (9:00 p.m. to midnight).
