MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“This Saturdayâ€Â™s football game against Ashland Universityat 1:00 p.m. is Band Day and Marquette County Youth Football Day.

This yearâ€Â™s edition of Band Day is the 50^thAnniversary of the event.  Eight bandsare scheduled to participate in the event. Each band will also join NMUâ€Â™s â€ÂœPride of theNorthâ€Â Marching Band for a special performance with a rock-n-roll theme.

Marquette County Youth Football players are asked to wearyour jersey to the game to receive a $3 ticket.  Dome games for the youth football teams willfollow NMUâ€Â™s game on Saturday night and also onSunday.
