MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ The â€Â˜Cats were at it again onSaturday on the Vandament Arena court in the second match of the Ramada InnInvitational against the University of Minnesota-Crookston with a three-gamesweep (30-27, 30-28, 30-23) over the Golden Eagles.  NMU has now won 27 regularseason matches in a row as they are now a perfect 4-0 on the season.  Crookstonfalls to 5-3 on the season.  In the first match of the day the Huskies of St.Cloud defeated the Huskies of Michigan Tech in three games (30-27, 30-28,30-23).


Jennie Little and Andrea Smith gave the â€Â˜Cats a one-twopunch with 17 and 13 kills respectively.  Little had 24 total attempts for a.583 hitting percentage.  Smith recorded 32 total attempts for a hittingpercentage of .313.  Little added two service aces and two block assists forthe match.  Smith added four block assists in the win.


Brittany McGowan passed the ball for 24 assists on the day. Aimee Dewitte and Kelli McCune both added 10 digs each.  Ashley Kiel had sixservice aces to go along with her one block solo and four block assists.


The â€Â˜Cats are on the road next week as they face Lewis onThursday night (Sept. 9) before playing in the Lewis Invitational over theweekend (Sept. 10-11).
