Keith Jordan Named To NMU Football Staff

 

MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Doug Sams the head football coach at Northern Michigan University hasannounced that Keith Jordan has joined the NMU football coaching staff.  Hewill coach the defensive backs.  Jordan waspreviously on the NMU staff from 1997-99, where he was the assistant head coachand defensive coordinator.

Jordan spent the past three seasons at Ft. Scott Community College as the assistant head coach, defensive coordinator and thestrength and conditioning coordinator. 

His other collegiate stops have included Southwest Baptist University asthe defensive coordinator and the strength and conditioning coordinator(1995-97) and at Truman State University as an assistant football coach (1994-95).

Jordan was the head football coach at Monett High School in Monett, Mo. from 1999-01 before he went to Ft. Scott.  He has also been a head coach on thehigh school level at Kirksville High School in Kirksville, Mo. (1990-93) and atJasper High School in Jasper, Mo. (1982-85).

He has been an assistant football coach atLamar High School inLamar, Mo. (1986-89)and at Sarcoxie High School inSarcoxie, Mo.(1985-86).  His other duties on the high school level included coachingbasketball and track.

Jordan and his wife, Jacqueline, have twochildren, Marisa and Owen.
