MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Â“ Walt Kyle thehead hockey coach at Northern Michigan University has announced that Adam Davisfrom Lakeville, Minn. has signed a National Letter of Intent with the â€Â˜Cats. He will not join the hockey program until the 2005-06 season.  Next year, the6-1, 200 pound defenseman will play for the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL.  Daviswas a third round pick and the 26^th overall selection in the USHLdraft.

Davis (11/26/85) played for Lakeville High School this pastseason where he appeared in 31 games, scored 12 goals with 32 assists for 44points.  He was an All-Lake Conference selection, all-metro and an all-statehonorable mention pick for the 2003-04 season.  Davis was selected to the Great8 Team.
