The opening event of the meet, the 200-yard medley relay theAqua-â€Â˜Cats were second as the team of Shelly Ruspakka, Larisa Graham, AnnaHerman and Cricket Knight swam a 1:56.05. Lindsey Vermillion placed second in the next event which was the 1000freestyle (11:30.03). Sam Pechek swam toa second place showing in the 50 freestyle (25.81).
Graham picked up the first win for the Aqua-â€Â˜Cats on theafternoon when she captured the 400 I.M. in a clocking of 4:47.19.
Ruspakka picked up a first place showing in the 200backstroke with a time of 2:18.56. Inthe diving events Kathie Cole was second on the one-meter board (245.70) andthird on the three-meter (205.20).  Â Inthe final individual event of the day, the 200 breaststroke Bartosh was secondin the event (2:31.64).
The Aqua-â€Â˜Cats will not compete again until the GLIACSwimming and Diving Championships which will be held from Feb. 19-22.
