The â€Ã‚˜Cats led the entire game asthey started the game by going on a 22-11 run and never looked back.
The second half saw theTimberwolves narrowed the gap to nine points twice, but the â€Ã‚˜Cats answered eachtime. Grubaugh and Emily Samuelson madelay-ups with less than seven minutes left in the game to get the â€Ã‚˜Cats back toa double-digit lead.ÂÂÂÂ
Samuelson ended the game with 12points, five rebounds and three assists. Andrea Brooke added 16 points and six rebounds to the win.
For the game the â€Ã‚˜Cats shot 40.9percent form the floor (27-66) and were 8-23 in three-pointers (34.8percent). From the free throw line theâ€Ã‚˜Cats made 16 of their 20 attempts for 80 percent.
The Timberwolves did out-reboundthe â€Ã‚˜Cats by one at 41 to 40 rebounds.
NMU will be in action again onMonday night (December 15) against Finlandia.
