Dewitte And Little Named To GLIAC First Team


 

BAY CITY, Mich.â€Ã‚“ Aimee Dewitte and Jennie Little were named to the 2003 All-GLIACVolleyball Team as first team selections. Ashley Kiel and Andrea Smith were both second team picks to theteam.  Holly Greenamyre was named to theteam as an honorable mention selection. 

Little, from Rhodes, Mich., leads the â€Ã‚˜Cats in kills with 286(3.53 k/game) for a .327 hitting percentage. She has 30 assists, 31 service aces, 107 digs and 54 total blocks.

Dewitte, from St. Charles, Ill., has 175 kills(2.87 k/game) for a .380 hitting percentage. She has 20 assists, 29 service aces, 183 digs and 41 total blocks (11solos, which is second on the team).

Freshman Ashley Kiel, from Allenton, Wis., leads the â€Ã‚˜Cats with 43 service acesand 295 digs.  She also leads the â€Ã‚˜Catswith 16 block solos, 67 block assists for a team-high 83 total blocks. Ã‚ ÃƒÃ‚‚ 

Andrea Smith, from Ironwood, Mich.,is second on the team with 238 kills (2.94 k/game) for a hitting percentage of.280.  She is also second on the teamwith 56 total blocks.

Greenamyre, from Omaha, Neb., has 164 kills (2.08 k/game) for ahitting percentage of .325.  She is thirdon the team with 10 block solos as she has 50 total blocks.
