BAY CITY, Mich.â€Ã‚“ Jim Moore was named the 2003 GLIAC Volleyball Coach of the Year by hispeers.  Mooreis in his first season of his second stint at Northern Michigan,led the Wildcats to a 23-0 overall regular season record and an 18-0 mark inthe GLIAC.  This season marks the firsttime that the â€Ã‚˜Cats have posted an undefeated regular season. 

Moorewas at NMU from 1989-93, leading NMU to the NCAA II Championship in 1993 withan overall record of 38-1.  Moorewas named the 1993 National Coach of the Year, and has three AVCA/TachikaraGreat Lakes Region â€Ã‚œCoach of the Yearâ€Ã‚ awards to his credit.  This is Mooreâ€Ã‚™sthird GLIAC â€Ã‚œCoach of the Yearâ€Ã‚ award, having earned the title in 1991 and1992.
