MARQUETTE, Mich.- More than just the Minerâ€Ã‚™s Cup will be on the line Saturday for theNorthern Michigan-Michigan Tech football game. For the second year the two teams will be playing for the Minerâ€Ã‚™s Cup asthe Huskies won it last year with their 34-13 win over the â€Ã‚˜Cats inHoughton.  The Minerâ€Ã‚™s Cup will beawarded to the captains of the winning team following the game.

The sandwich board challenge is onagain this year as NMU Athletic Director Ken Godfrey and MTUâ€Ã‚™s Rick Yeo haveissued the challenge once again.  Thelosing athletic director will have to wear a sandwich board around the winnerâ€Ã‚™scampus for an hour proclaiming his team lost in football.

The game is this Saturday, November1 at 7:00 p.m. in the Superior Dome.
