MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Ã‚“ What looked as a struggle for the â€Ã‚˜Cats early on against Wayne State turned into a four-game win that kept the streak alive.  The Warriors took the first game (25-30) before the â€Ã‚˜Cats (14-0, 9-0) ran off three straight (30-24, 30-26, 30-17) to win their 14th straight and ninth straight GLIAC match. Ã‚  Wayne State falls to 6-12 and 2-8 in conference action.

Four â€Ã‚˜Cats registered double-digit kills as Jennie Little led the way with 21 as Ashley Kiel and Andrea Smith had 14 and 13 respectively.  Aimee Dewitte, Kiel and Liz Kohn all had 15 digs each.  Kiel also added six block assists.

Anne (Kinsella) Hasenstab dished-out a match-high 34 assists.  Dewitte added to the win with five service aces for the match to go along with her 11 kills.   

NMU will travel across the U.P. on Tuesday night (October 14) to take on Lake Superior State in The Soo.  The â€Ã‚˜Cats the will then have two home matches next weekend against Findlay (October 18) and Ashland (October 19).
