MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NorthernMichigan University Athletic Department is hosting the Wildcat Sports Festival onMonday, September 15 from 6-8 p.m. inthe Superior Dome.  Admission is free andopen to people of all ages.

Meet and compete with various NMU players, coaches andrecreation staff in fun-filled games such as hockey target shoot, sleeping bagrelays, frisbee golf, fieldgoal contest, snowshoe obstacle course and many more.  "This is something that we want to do asan annual event," Ken Godfrey, the NMU Athletic Director, said.  "This is a way for the NMU AthleticDepartment to reach out to the Marquette and surrounding communities to build relationships."

Special photo opportunities will be available with NMUstudent-athletes and coaches.  Additionalinformation on recreation memberships and programs, sports clubs, Cat Pack,Young Wildcat Club, Wildcat Club and S.A.A.C. will be available.
