GRAND FORKS, N.D. â€Ã‚“ Wednesday at the NCAA II Swimmingand Diving National Championships, Dena Quick placed sixth in the 50-yardfreestyle with a time of 23.82.  Byplacing sixth in the event, Quick earned NCAA II All-American honors.  The Aqua-â€Ã‚˜Cats are tied for 14thplace with North Dakota as both teams have 13 points.  Truman State is leading the womenâ€Ã‚™s side of the meet with 181points.

Sam Pechek also swam in the 50 freestyle as she did notqualify for the finals.  Pechek swam a24.92 in the prelims.  Kathie Colequalified for the one and three-meter diving competition at the championshipsby placing fifth on the one-meter and seventh on the three-meter during thediving prelims on Tuesday.  She willdive in the one-meter semifinals today (Thursday) and the three-metersemifinals on Saturday.

Pechek competes in the 200 freestyle today.
