MARQUETTE, Mich. â€Ã‚“ For the second time this season,Dirk Southern has been named the CCHA Rookie of the Week for his performanceagainst Ohio State. Southern (1-2-3,+3) had a goal and game-winning assist in Fridayâ€Ã‚™s 5-2 victory over OSU anddrew an assist on the â€Ã‚˜Cats lone goal in a 4-1 Saturday loss to theBuckeyes. Southern is currently thirdon the NMU team with 29 points (8-21-29) as he is the leading freshman scoreron the squad.
