Kristy Vermillion Wins 1000 Freestyle
ALLENDALE, Mich. â€Ã‚“ The first day of the GLIACSwimming and Diving Championships is in the books and the NMU Aqua-â€Ã‚˜Cats are insecond place with 21 points as Wayne State is leading the meet with 25 points.
Kristy Vermillion won the 1000-yard freestyle with alifetime best time of 10:36.30. LindseyVermillion was eighth in the event with a time of 11:00.59.
The competition continues on Thursday, Feb. 20.
