
MARQUETTE, Mich. - The NMU menâ€Ã‚™s basketball teampicked up a big GLIAC win on Thursday night at the Berry Events Center.
NMU led the entire 40 minutes of play and did not let theTimberwolves get any closer than three points late in the game.
The â€Ã‚˜Cats were 9-20 from the three-point line on the night(45 percent).ÂÂÂÂ
Northwood did win the battle of the boards as they had 34rebounds to the â€Ã‚˜Cats 26. But, theTimberwolves turned the ball over 17 times on the night.
Billy Hill led the way for the â€Ã‚˜Cats on Thursday night with19 points and four assists. Marco Volcyhad 17 points and five rebounds. KederHyppolite added 14 points in the win.ÂÂÂÂ
The team will be in action again on Monday night (Jan. 27)at Houghton, Mich. to take on Michigan Tech.
