BOWLING GREEN, Ohio â€Ã‚“ The Bowling Green StateUniversity Falcons seem to have the Wildcats number.  For the second game in a row, going back to last season theFalcons defeated the Wildcats 3-2 Friday night at the BGSU Ice Arena.  With the loss the â€Ã‚˜Cats are now 10-8-1overall and 8-5-0 in the CCHA.  TheFalcons with the win are now 4-13-2 and 2-10-2.

BGSU jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on a goal by RyanMinnabarriet at 6:45 of the second period. Peter Michelutti would answer with a shorthanded goal at 13:34 of thesecond period for his second goal of the season.  Alan Swanson assisted. Less than a minute later the Falcons would re-gain the lead at 2-1 on agoal by Mark Wires at 14:33 of the period. The goal scoring for the second period was not over as Mike Stutzelwould tie the game at 2-2 with his 14th goal of the season at 15:03of the second period.  Bryce Cockburnand Juha Alen assisted.

Ryan Barnett would score the game-winner for the Falconswith his fourth goal of the season at 13:03 of the third period.

Craig Kowalski was between the pipes for the â€Ã‚˜Cats as he had17 saves on the night.  Jordan Sigalethad 34 saves for the Falcons as he picked up the win.  NMU had 36 shots on goal on the evening as the Falcons managed 20shots on goal.

The two teams will play again on Saturday night (Jan. 11) atthe BGSU Ice Arena.
