RUMFORD, Maine â€Ã‚“ Melissa Oram led the Wildcat womenskiers at the third day of the 2003 Chevy Truck U.S. Cross Country SkiChampionships with a seventh place in the Womenâ€Ã‚™s 5K Classic in a time of15:17.9. 

Five other NMU skiers placed in the top 30 as Rachel Daw ledthe group with a 16^th place finish (15:40.4).  Hilary Patzer was 20^th (15:50.2)followed by Caitlin Compton in 27^th place (16:07.4), Shannon Dikkemain 28^th place (16:16.6) and Jordan Seethaler in 29^thplace (16:17.9).  Tami Kochen placed 40^thin a time of 16:37.5 in the event.

The skating sprints are set for Thursday, Jan. 9.  The final day of competition will be onSunday, Jan. 12.
