ST. PAUL, Min. - The Wildcats cruised to theRoy Griak Invitational Women's Maroon II title on Saturday. The 'Cats scored 60points and placed three runners in the top 10. Wartburg College was second inthe event with 128 points.
Jordan Seethaler was the top finisher for the 'Cats in third place with a timeof 18:16.4. Also placing in the top 10 were Caitlin Compton in fourth place(18:20.8) and Jennifer Lahr in ninth place (18:38.7). Scoring points for the'Cats were Katherine Huemmer as she was 17th (18:54.0), Liza Gorkiewicz was27th (19:10.5), Maria Stuber was 32nd (19:15.2) and Stephanie Howe was 33rd(19:17.2).
The squad won't be back in action until hosting the U.P. Championship onOctober 18.
