Wildcats For The Second Week

DULUTH, Minn. - For the secondweek in a row the Wildcats dominated a cross country meet. This week the 'Catseasily ran away with the Lester Park Invitational which was hosted byUM-Duluth. NMU tallied 23 team points as St. Olaf College was second with 76points. Jordan Seethaler won the race with a time of 18:30.3, which set a newcourse record.
The Wildcats had nine other runners place in the top 13. Caitlin Compton wasfourth (18:57.1); Jennifer Lahr was fifth (19:03.6); Katheryn Huemmer was sixth(19:11.1); Maria Stuber was seventh (19:24.9); Liza Gorkiewicz was eighth(19:35.6); Stephanie Howe was ninth (19:41.0); Michelle Paul was 10th(19:46.5); Tami Kochen was 11th (19:56.0); and Tracy Wills was 13th (19:57.6).
The Wildcats are off until Sept. 21st when they will run at the Midwest CrossCountry Championship.
