MARQUETTE, Mich. - The events ofSaturday have turned in favor of the Northern Michigan University women'svolleyball team. NMU was supposed to play Gannon on Saturday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m. in Erie, Pa. At game time the 'Cats were no where to be found and it wasdeclared a forfeit at the time to Gannon. Most GLIAC volleyball matches are at 4:00 p.m. when the match is played on a Saturday.
After appealing to the GLIAC and to the Gannon officials, the match will now beplayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday in Erie, Pa. The 'Cats are currently in Erie, Pa.where they will play at Mercyhurst today (Sunday, September 29).
