UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - TheNMU volleyball team found the winning touch once again at Saginaw Valley Stateon Friday night. The 'Cats won three games in a row (30-23, 30-19, 30-18) totake the match. NMU is now 7-9 overall and 2-4 in the GLIAC while SVSU is 4-15and 0-7. The win gives the 'Cats an all-time record of 37-1 against theCardinals.
Aimee Dewitte and Jennie Little gave the 'Cats a one-two punch with 12 and 11kills respectively. Meaghan Kimball led the team with 15 digs on the defensivefront. Kelli McCune passed for 37 assists. Chelsea Erickson led the Cardinalswith nine kills.
The 'Cats play at Northwood tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 5).
