The Northern Michigan University Seaborg Center will host Coder Dojo 906, a free after-school program that teaches kids how to code and explore technology in a casual and creative environment. The program is designed for students ages 7-17. It will be held from 4-6 p.m. in 2702 West Science on the following dates: Oct. 6 and 20; Nov. 3 and 17; and Dec. 1 and 15. Children can attend one or all of the sessions, but pre-registration is requested for each session they will attend. To register, visit http://www.nmu.edu/seaborg/student-programs.

Coder Dojo is a global movement of community-based programming clubs for young people. In addition to coding, young people learn how to develop websites, apps, programs and games.
