Track and Field Ranked 23 in Preseason Rankings
NEW ORLEANS – The Northern Michigan University indoor track and field team is ranked No. 23 in the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) preseason computer projections, which are based largely on the top returners from each school and early performances from this season.
NMU finished 14th at last year’s NCAA Indoor Championship. The Wildcats broke two school and meet records at their first meet of the season in early December.
Northern competes next at the UW-Elite meet on Jan. 19.
