USOEC Names All-Academic Team

Marquette, Mich.—The United States Olympic Education Center has named 28 student-athletes to its All-Academic Team for their performance in the classroom during the 2012 fall semester.

The All-Academic Team recognizes athletes who earn a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Assistant Director Mike Fields was pleased with the semester results.

“It can be difficult to juggle academics and sport,” said Fields. “It is nice to see so many athletes earning honors in the classroom, including 20 with a GPA of 3.25 or higher.”
